Paraduxx Wine Tasting Notes

Beautiful modern facility, a ten-sided fermentation building with tasting room, offers outdoor table service tasting with food pairing. With the steep tasting fees, it's plenty worth it to split one taste between two people. They do ask you make an appointment for tasting, but we called when we were right outside the gate... no problem.

The interior looks more like a swanky restaurant than a tasting room, with young, hip, beautiful people working the bar.

Doors open along the far wall onto a striking outdoor deck, including table and big comfy couch out under a big tree in the center of the zen garden-like courtyard.

Unlike most tasting room, they set you up at your own table, give you the flight of wines, tell you all about them, then leave you alone to taste at your leisure, (which is awesome).

Pick from two tastings: Essential Tasting ($20), which features an array of current release wines, or the Enhanced Tasting ($30), which allows you to taste some of the winery's library and limited-production bottlings.

Paraduxx is an offshoot of Duckhorn Wine Company, which owns Goldeneye, and Duckhorn Vineyards.
