Francis Ford Coppola Winery Wine Tasting Notes

Mr. Coppola's Sonoma property, formally named Francis Ford Coppola Presents Rosso & Bianco, is now simply called Francis Ford Coppola Winery.

The tastings fees are reasonable; $8 for the Sonoma Flight, and $5 for the New Release Flight (four tastes each), and you can always get a free pour of Rosso or Bianco.

Renovations are being done to the entire winery property. The latest update (fall 2009) on the website says "tremendous progress, including our new swimming pools and the framework for the band shell."

The Yet Unnamed cafe is currently closed for renovations. I couldn't find any information or updates as to when it would re-open.

This is a fun winery stop, and should only get better when the renovations are done. Considering that it costs $25 just to enter Coppola's Napa estate, this is a great alternative if you want to get a taste of the Coppola wine experience. Stop by and write on the walls. It's okay, really. They want you to.
