Toad Hollow Vineyards Wine Tasting Notes

A storefront tasting room just a block north of the plaza in downtown Healdsburg, making this a great stop at lunch time, or at the end of a long day of tasting, because of it's proximity to all of the dining options on the plaza.

We had a great time tasting here. While it can be very crowded in the small space, the staff are very friendly and knowledgeable, and the snob factor is non-existent, totally informal. We liked many of the wines, all at reasonable prices, so much so that we bought three bottles before we left:
2006 Chardonnay
2006 Pinot "Eye"
2004 Merlot / McDowell.
